    Preface Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Azbil Corporation CV 3000 Alphaplus control valve. The model AGVB/AGVM top guided single -seat control valve features accurate flow control performance and reduced cost. It has a new lighter valve body design and compact electric actuator and is 20% lighter and smaller than conventional models.

    General Description Azbil Corporation 1-3 : Structures A typical CV 3000 Alphaplus series control valve is shown in Figure1-2. The valve body is fixed to the bonnet by stud bolts and nuts. Gaskets mounted between body and bonnet act as a seal for the internal fluid, making the valve body a pressure vessel.

Before installing the valve, remove scales, welding chips or any other contami- nants from both upstream and downstream sides of the process pipe. 2. Confirm that the direction of process fluid flow conforms with the arrowhead mark on the valve body.
