BATTERY REPLACEMENT The rangefinder is powered by AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries. The battery status is displayed on the LCD screen. To replace the batteries, remove the cover located on the back of the rangefinder. Be careful about the battery polarity, insert new batteries, and close the cover. It is recommended to remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long time. -

SINGLE MEASUREMENT Single Measurement Press to activate the laser beam. After pressing again, a distance measurement will be taken, and the result will be displayed on the screen. There is a possibility to measure both horizontal and vertical distances (see Indirect Measurement). CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT Holding down in single measurement mode activates the continuous measurement function. - Page 12 INDIRECT MEASUREMENT Four Pythagorean modes are available in case the user has difficulties with direct measurements. 1. CALCULATE THE LENGTHS OF TWO SIDES BY MEASURING THE HYPOTENUSE AND ANGLE. Press four times, the hypotenuse icon will flash. Then press to measure the length of the hypotenuse (a) and the angle (Alpha) between the hypotenuse and the horizontal.
