Mounting instruction

1.
Mounting the arm (figure 1b)
NOTE! The arm shall be mounted on a wall or pillar of sufficient strength to take the
forces and torque that is generated by the weight of the arm, a PowerBox and normal use.
H = recommended mounting height (figure 1a)
F1 = axial force/screw
F2 = vertical force/screw
F3 = horizontal force/screw
When mounting the arm on the wall use a spirit level on different parts of the wall
bracket to ensure that it is level.
NOTE! Ground the wall bracket preferably from one of the mounting screws.
2.
Mounting hoses and cables (figure 2)
The vacuum hose is threaded thru the loop mounted on the center piece at the top of
the arm and fastened with hose clamps. The cables and compressed air hose is threaded
inside the rectangular tubing of the arm and fastened with straps in the middle.
NOTE! There must be sufficient length to the cables and hose to allow bending of the
arm without damaging hose and cables.
3.
Adjusting the brakes (figure 3)
Adjust the brakes so that the arm is stable yet easy to move. The brake on the wall
bracket is adjusted using the nut on the shaft. The brakes on the middle joints are
adjusted using the nuts on the shafts and the two screws on the top of each joint.
