Admin Guide > Inbound Production Faxing and the DropFax Service
Only drop the fax without error - selecting this option will prevent faxes with
errors from being dropped into the DropFax directory.
Enable Trace - select this option to enable traces of incoming faxes for diagnostic
and troubleshooting purposes.
Trace File Size - select this option to limit the size of the trace file. If not limited,
trace files can quickly become very large, take up disk space, and interfere with
FaxPress function.
Using the Line section's Add button allows you to configure DropFax directories
by line. Select the Line, enter the path to the Directory where inbound faxes will
be directed (or press the button to browse for folder), and enter a User Name and
Password. Specify a network user with access rights to the share. The DropFax
service will use this account to log into the DropFax directory.
In the DropFax Service interface, the User section's Add button allows you to
configure DropFax directories for individual users. Select a user in the FaxPress
User field, enter the path to the Directory where inbound faxes will be directed
(or press the button to browse for folder), and enter a User Name and Password.
Specify a network user with access rights to the share. The DropFax service will
use this account to log into the DropFax directory.
