Introduction
The Model T27327 Bed Extension extends the bed
length of the Model T25920 and T25926 benchtop
lathes to accommodate longer workpieces.

Installation
Thread rubber feet into bottom of bed

Remove (2) M10-1.5 x 12 cap screws secur-

ing retaining plate to tailstock end of lathe
bed.
Secure bed extension to lathe bed with both

cap screws removed in previous step and (2)
10mm lock washers. Finger-tighten only for
now.

Center tailstock over bed extension and lathe

This will align bed extension and lathe bed to
bottom of tailstock.

Using a 6mm hex wrench, fully tighten bed

extension cap screws.
Loosen tailstock clamp handle, and slide

— If tailstock catches where lathe and bed
extension meet, loosen fasteners and
repeat Steps 4–6 until it slides smoothly.
Place straightedge over bed extension and

lathe bed to verify they are parallel and
aligned.
