WARNING – To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always
turn power off at the service panel before installing this unit,
working on the circuit, or changing a lamp.
CAUTION – To reduce the risk of overheating and possible
damage to other equipment, do not install to control a
receptacle, a fluorescent light or bulb or a motor-operated
appliance. The maximum VA rating of this dimmer applies
to the transformer input, not the load on the transformer
secondary.
• Do not use with inoperative or missing lamps. Use
of this dimmer with inoperative or missing lamps can
create an over current condition which may damage the
transformer. Use transformers that incorporate thermal
protection of a fuse at the primary windings.
• Connect only in a 120VAC, 60Hz circuit to control the
primary of a transformer supplied incandescent.
• A 50VA minimum load is required.
• Use copper wire only.
The TD-603 Incandescent Touch Dimmer is designed to replace a standard light switch or dimmer. It controls incandescent loads only.
The Touch Dimmer operates in the following way:
The load status LED located on the top of the paddle acts as a
locator light. When the connected load is OFF, the load status
LED will be on at a dim level. When the connected load is
turned ON, the LED will increase in brightness. The seven light
level LEDs on the side of the dimmer show the current light
level of the product. As the user presses and holds the paddle,
the light level LEDs will act as a bar graph indicating the current
light level. For example, when the connected load is on at 50%
brightness, the four lower LEDs will be illuminated. When the
connected load is OFF, one light level LED will be illuminated
showing the preset light level.
Caution: Use only with permanently installed 120V
incandescent or halogen fixtures. To avoid overheating and possible damage to other equipment, do
not use to control receptacles, fluorescent lighting fixtures, motor-driven appliances, or transformer-
supplied appliances.
Important Notes
1. For 3-way/multi-way installations, the Touch Remote (TDR) must be used in conjunction with the TD-603. The TD-603 is not
compatible with standard 3-way/4-way switches.
2. For multi-way installations, do not exceed 200 ft. of traveler wire between all the devices.

fluorescente ou un appareil motorisé. La capacité maximale
en VA de ce dispositif s'applique à l'entrée du transformateur
et non pas à la charge au niveau de la partie secondaire du
transformateur.

La instalación debe estar a cargo de un electricista certificado u otra
persona calificada.
ADVERTENCIA. Para evitar una fuerte descarga eléctrica o la
electrocución, siempre desconecte el suministro eléctrico en el panel
de servicio antes de instalar esta unidad, trabajar en el circuito o
cambiar una lámpara.
PRECAUCIÓN. Para reducir el riesgo de sobrecalentamiento y
posibles daños a otros equipos, no lo instale para controlar un
receptáculo, una luz o una bombilla fluorescentes o un aparato
accionado por motor. La capacidad nominal máxima de VA de este
atenuador corresponde a la entrada del transformador, no a la carga
del transformador secundario.
• No lo utilice con lámparas defectuosas o si faltan lámparas.
El uso del atenuador con lámparas defectuosas, o si faltan
lámparas, puede crear una condición de corriente en exceso
que puede dañar el transformador. Utilice los transformadores
que tienen protección térmica de un fusible en los
