1 Press a or ENTER while the power is off.
Alternatively, press CLOCK while pressing SHIFT while the
power is on or off.
The clock is displayed. (Or the clock becomes brighter.)
When the power cord is plugged into an AC outlet for the first
time after purchase or when the clock setting is canceled due
to a power failure, the entire clock display flashes.
2 Within 4 seconds, start setting the time.
Press r or t.
Alternatively, move CURSOR on the main unit i or k, or press
i/k on the remote control.
Holding these buttons down will vary the time in 10-minute units.
3 Press a or ENTER.
The clock starts from 00 seconds.
When the clock is set for the first time after purchase
Everything on the display will clear.
This is because the power economizing mode is activated, and is
not a malfunction.
The power economizing mode can be canceled. See page 10 for
details.
To view the clock when another display is in the display
Press CLOCK while pressing SHIFT on the remote control. The
time is displayed for 4 seconds and then the original display
reappears.
To switch to the 24-hour standard
Press CLOCK while pressing SHIFT on the remote control, and
then press s within 4 seconds.
Repeat the same procedure to restore the 12-hour standard.
In the 12-hour standard, "AM 12:00" indicates midnight and "PM
12:00" indicates noon.
If the clock display flashes
If the display flashes when the clock is displayed, it indicates
that the clock has stopped due to a power failure or the removal
of the power cord. The current time needs to be reset.

The unit can be turned off automatically at a specified time.
1 Press SLEEP while pressing SHIFT.
Alternatively, press MODE on the main unit repeatedly until
"SLEEP" is displayed.
2 Within 4 seconds, press r or t to specify
the time until the power is turned off.
Alternatively, move CURSOR on the main unit i or k.
The time changes between 5 and 240 minutes in 5-minute
steps.
To check the time remaining until the power is turned off
Press SLEEP once while pressing SHIFT. The remaining time is
displayed for 4 seconds.
To cancel the sleep timer
Press SLEEP twice while pressing SHIFT so that "SLEEP OFF"
appears on the display.
When operating on the main unit, press MODE repeatedly until
"SLEEP" is displayed. Then move CURSOR i or k so that
"SLEEP OFF" is displayed.
