VIP Maintenance Thank you for buying the VIP Utility Pump. This pump can be used for many applications to remove standing water around the home. It is designed to be able to pass up to 3/8” debris but occasionally required maintenance to clear material that is not able to pass through the pump.

2. Using a faucet or garden hose, rinse any debris that has accumulated from the bottom of the pump. A mild dish detergent and an old toothbrush can be used to help remove debris. 3. Remove the three screws from the bottom of the pump. Depending on the manufacture date, you may need a #2 Phillips screwdriver or a 1/4”...

4. Remove the base by lifting the inlet cover off the pump. Depending on the manufacture date, some models will require a slight clockwise rotation of the inlet cover before you lift the cover off. *inlet cover 5. Clean and rinse any debris from the inlet cover, impeller and around the impeller.

6. If you removed the O-ring with the inlet base, reinstall the O-ring in the volute groove at this time. *groove *place O-ring back *O-ring groove 6. Reinstall the inlet cover aligning it with the tab on the pump. Insert and tighten the 3 screws to secure the inlet base to the pump.

7. Now your pump is ready to be used again.
