Electrical Equipment Safety Power Source • Electrical equipment and controls shall be installed and serviced by a qualified electrician and must meet all local codes and standards. • Locate main power disconnect switch within reach from ground level to permit ready access in case of an emergency.

Safe operation and use of the bin dryer controls requires that you familiarize yourself with the various safety decals and the areas or particular functions that the decals apply to, as well as the safety precautions that must be taken to avoid serious injury, death, or damage.

5. INSTALLATION EASYDRY® – EASYDRY® APEX CONTROLS 5.4. Install the PLC/HMI The PLC/HMI can be ordered with an optional internal heater and thermostat to allow operation in frigid temperatures. 1. Choose the locations for the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) / HMI (Human Machine Interface) panel.
The power must remain locked out and tagged out until all wires and equipment installations to the PLC/HMI are complete. Important Follow the EasyDry® EasyDry® Apex Controls Wiring Instructions (Part Number 009370–2) for all required field connections. 1. PLC/HMI wire connections.

Run the cable up the back side of the grain band post angle and along to the top of the uppermost grain band. b. Run the cable along the top of the grain band until the point is reached under the roof rib near to the PLC.

6. Span the cable from the top of the grain band to the under-side of roof rib above the exit location. Secure the cable to the roof rib bolts using cable bolt clips (not supplied by AGI). 7. Exit the cable from the grain bin at the roof rib bird stop location.
5. INSTALLATION EASYDRY® – EASYDRY® APEX CONTROLS 5.8.2 Install the Plenum Temperature Sensor This sensor signals the heater when to turn on and off. 1. Position the plenum temperature sensor (Dwyer®I2 Series Temperature Probe, Part Number®I2–46062) to the side of the one or two fans.

Fan and heaters for 230VAC single-phase power come with a 20hp three-phase motor and variable frequency drive (VFD). The VFD converts 230VAC single-phase power to 230V three-phase power to run the 20hp motor.
