• When you cannot receive a message, such as
when your phone is turned off, have a new
message notification resent (see following
section).
Tip: You can set the ring tone for when receiving
messages (see page 85).
15.2 Retrieving MMS Messages from
the Centre
If your phone is turned off or out of the service area
for more than 24 hours, a new message notification is
no longer sent. Follow the steps to the right to resend
the notification.
Note: When you have a new message notification
sent again, the newest 30 messages stored on the
mail server are sent to your phone at once. Messages
for which you have already received a new message
notification (MMS message text) are also resent.
