Pilot light

The green pilot light is illuminated when the appliance is swit-
ched on and mains power is present.

Temperature Display

The temperature display is on the inside of the door of the
appliance. It shows the temperature at the warmest point in the
freezer.
The temperature can be lower in other areas of the freezer due
to temperature layering, differences in loading and the tolerance
on the display.

Warning system

The warning system comprises of an optical warning light (red)
and an acoustic warning tone. The red warning light and the
warning tone signal an alarm
– if the appliance door is left open too long;
– if the temperature in the freezer is too warm;
– if there is a malfunction in the cooling system.
"Open Door" warning
The red warning light illuminates and the warning tone sounds if
the door is left open for more than 80 seconds.
• You can temporarily switch off the warning tone when the door
is open by pressing the oval switch on the control panel. If the
door remains open, the warning tone sounds again after
approximately 80 seconds.
• If more time is required to put frozen food into the appliance, or
to sort the food out, the warning tone can be switched off by
pulling out the oval switch. The oval switch is automatically
pushed back into its normal position when the door is closed.
Temperature Warning
The red warning light illuminates and the warning tone sounds if
the temperature in the freezer is warmer than –12°C.
