    Setzen Sie die Hauptstation keiner Feuchtigkeit und keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung aus.     Inbetriebnahme Hinweis: Setzen Sie die Batterien zuerst in den Außenfühler ein, dann erst in die Hauptstation. Produkte aufstellen ACHTUNG: Nehmen Sie zuerst den Außenfühler und erst dann die Hauptstation in Betrieb. Setzen Sie den Außenfühler und auch die Hauptstation nach Möglichkeit keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung aus.

    Hauptstation in Betrieb nehmen / Batterien wechseln Öffnen Sie auf der Rückseite der Hauptstation den Batteriefach- deckel , indem Sie die Lasche am unteren Ende des Batteriefachs nach oben ziehen. Für einen Batteriewechsel entnehmen Sie zunächst die alten Batterien. Legen Sie neue Batterien des Typs LR06 in das Batteriefach Achten Sie hierbei auf die richtige Polung.

    Anzeigen im Basismodus Das Uhrzeitfeld Die Uhrzeit: Die Uhrzeit wird gemäß den Voreinstel- lungen im 24-Stundenformat angezeigt. Wird in den Grundeinstellungen das 12-Stundenformat gewählt, erscheint in der Zeit von 12:00 Uhr mittags bis 11:59 Uhr abends zur Unterschei- dung ein PM (Lateinisch für „Post Meridiem“ = nachmittags) vor der Uhrzeit.

    Das Luftdruckfeld Die Luftdruckanzeige: Oben rechts erscheint der Luftdruck zu dem Zeitpunkt, welcher im Feld HIST (für Englisch History = Entwick- lung) angezeigt wird. Zeigt die Anzeige LLL (bzw. LL.LL bei Wahl der Einheit inHg), wird der Anzeigebereich von 850 hPa (25,1 inHg) unterschritten, zeigt er HHH (bzw.

    Die Wettervorhersage: Die Hauptstation berechnet aus der Luftdruckentwicklung eine Wetter- vorhersage für eine Zeit von etwa 12 Stunden. Natürlich kann diese Vorhersage nicht mit der durch Satelliten und Hochleistungscomputer unterstützten Vorhersage von professionellen Wetterdiensten konkurrieren, sondern liefert lediglich einen ungefähren Anhaltspunkt für die aktuelle Entwicklung.
  • Page 20 Die relative Luftfeuchte: Hier wird die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit angezeigt, welcher die Hauptstation ausgesetzt ist. Der Trend der Temperatur- bzw. der Luftfeuchtigkeits- entwicklung: Die Trendanzeige zeigt aufwärts (bzw. abwärts), wenn sich die Temperatur innerhalb einer Stunde um 2 °C (= 3,6 °F) oder mehr ändert und behält die Richtung dann auch ohne weitere Änderung eine Stunde lang bei.

    Niedriger Batterieladezustand: Wird das Batteriezeichen angezeigt, sollten sobald wie möglich die Batterien der Hauptstation ausgetauscht werden. Folgen Sie hierzu den Anweisungen im Kapitel Hauptstation in Betrieb nehmen / Batterien wechseln. Das Temperaturfeld außen Die Außentemperatur: Die Außentemperatur wird mit einer Teilung von einem Zehntelgrad angezeigt.

    Die Trendanzeige der Luftfeuchtigkeit reagiert entspre- chend bei einer Änderung von 2 % Luftfeuchtigkeit. Kanalanzeige: Die Hauptstation empfängt das Signal des Außenfühlers automatisch, nachdem Sie alle Einstellungen vorge- nommen haben. Hinweis: Bei Störungen durch in der Nähe befindliche Geräte, die Funksignale übertragen, wählen Sie einen anderen Kanal für den Außensensor durch Drücken der CH-Taste an der Hauptstation oder des Kanal-...

    Wettervorhersage: Die Hauptstation berechnet die Wetter- vorhersage auf der Basis von Luftdruckveränderungen. Da bei Inbetriebnahme keine Daten über Luftdruckveränderungen vorlie- gen, erfolgt die Wettervorhersage zu diesem Zeitpunkt zufällig. Die Hauptstation ist erst nach ein paar Tagen in der Lage, die Wettervorhersage zu berechnen.

    Temperatur-Alarm einstellen Halten Sie die ALERT-Taste drei Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis im Temperaturfeld außen die Temperaturanzeige blinkt. Links ne- ben der Temperaturanzeige erscheint ein blinkender Aufwärts-Pfeil . Durch Druck auf die UP-Taste oder die DOWN- / -Taste können Sie nun die maximale Temperatur des gewünschten Tem- peraturbereichs einstellen.

    Weckalarm Die Hauptstation verfügt über zwei Weckalarme, welche unabhängig voneinander eingestellt und aktiviert werden können. Wochentag-Alarm, Einzelalarm Wochentag-Alarm: montags bis freitags Einzelalarm: einmaliger Alarm Sobald der Alarm beendet ist, wird dieser automatisch deaktiviert. Weckalarm einstellen Halten Sie die ALARM- / SET-Taste 3 Sekunden gedrückt, um in den Alarm-Einstellungsmodus zu gelangen.

To switch the product off completely, unplug the mains adapter from the socket. Safety instructions for batteries / rechargeable batteries DANGER TO LIFE! If no outdoor temperature is displayed after 3 minutes,the main station will stop searching.     Once the main station has received the signal from the outdoor sensor and the DCF signal, it enters base mode. In base mode the main station will display the following information: Information in base mode The clock field Time: The time will be displayed in 24 hour format according to the default settings.

    The lunar phase: The current lunar phase is indicated as follows: The portion of the moon not illuminated will be dark in the display. The weather forecast: The main station calculates a weather forecast for about the next 12 hours based on the barometric pressure trend. Of course this fore- cast can‘t compare to that of professional weather services supported by satellites and high performance computers, but merely provides an approximate indication of current developments.

The temperature- or humidity trend: The trend will appear as rising (or dropping), when the temperature changes by 2 °C (= 3.6 °F) or more within an hour and will maintain the direction for one hour even without any further change.

    The outdoor temperature field The outdoor temperature: The outdoor temperature is displayed with in- dexing up to a tenth of a degree. The temper- ature unit °C (for degrees Celsius) appears at the top right. The temperature unit can also be set to the now uncommon unit °F (degrees Fahrenheit).

ATTENTION: When no buttons are pressed for approx. 20 seconds the main station will return to base mode.
