1) Handling Instructions Power voltage is 220V. Use the attached power cable for C556. Use a dedicated outlet with enough power as a power source. Do not block the air outlet. Install the unit in a stable and horizontal place. Do not install the unit in a hot, humid, or wet place.

Connecting the power cable ① Check if the power switch is off (O) on the operation panel. ② Insert the attached power plug into the power outlet. The power outlet is located in the power box, which is at the bottom left on the front side of the body.

5) Description of the LCD touch panel The display is a LCD screen with a touch switch function. When you touch the screen, it works as a switch. CAUTION: Do not press the touch panel too hard, give a strong impact, or press it with a pointed object.

⑨Stop Position Before Soldering: Insert all the wires into the soldering tank, after stopping once at the position( after making the wire warmer), where the core wire touches the soldering surface. With this process, it can decrease the soldering bead, which causes in inserting the wire to the soldering tank.
Motion … Select a function of C556, such as an opening of the cutter, an error stop, etc. ①Normal Wire Cutter Opening: Change the cutter opening setting according to the thickness of wire. Thus you can increase the processing speed. [Thin Wire Cutter Opening] is for a wire, which is thinner than 0.3 sq (AWG#22).

When processing rear end, the gripper holds a wire at the “Gripper Position. When a setting is long, it becomes closer to the stripping position. Grip As shown in Fig. A, when the grip position is close to the stripping position, wire does not get warped easily.

17. Checking the processed wire In step 7) 1 to 16, we will evaluate the processing result ,which is performed by using wire only. Important is that both ends of wire are stripped as shown in Fig. 1 on the left. If a cutter setting is too small, the core is cut as well.
8) Attaching the terminal reel - In case of side terminals C ① Remove the Reel Stopper (A) and put the terminal B A reel to Reel Stand Bar (B). ② Hold the terminal reel by the reel stopper (A). - When the reel stand bar is short Loosen the Reel Stopper Screw (C) and pull the Reel Stand Bar (B) as necessary.
9)Setting up the Soldering Bath Use string solder (without rosin). String solder’s bobbin should have a diameter of 80 mm or less and a hole diameter of 15 mm or less. ①Set the bobbin of string solder. ②Turn the Roller Open/Close Knob to the direction of arrow (left) and insert string solder from the inlet into the soldering roller.

10) Setting the waterproof seal 1.SF-01 Seal injection point ①Waterproof seal is put in Seal supplier The oil stuck on the surface of the waterproof seal is wiped out well, and put in Seal supplier. Don't remove the oil of the hole that a line material is inserted into the waterproof seal.

③ Parts feeder A feeder controller is attached on the back of C555 & C558. (It operates automatically when the C556 unit is ON.) When the waterproof seal on the shute does not proceed properly, rotate the frequency volume or the speed volume to adjust the frequency. How to adjust a: Set the speed volume to maximum.

12) Automatic operation When the following settings are completed, the volume operation can be started. 1. Stripping process without crimping terminals. 2. Crimper position adjustment against the guide pipe. 3. Setting the guide pipe and gripper position against the shank center, front end length and rear end length.

14) Crimp force monitor Pressure sensor is integrated in the ram bolt of this unit. You can monitor the pressure given to a terminal for every single crimping. The monitor detects non-conforming items, such as crimping without core, crimping with cut core, or strip-caught crimping by a difference of pressure from non-defective.

⑥ Effect of crimper’s temperature change over the pressure Example) After you have operated 2 to 3 hours consecutively and stopped the unit for 30 minutes, and start the operation again at the same setting, the pressure may change a little and it may be determined as an error.

16)Cleaning of Soldering Bath Residue Removing Plate Liquid Level Sensor Soldering Nozzle Direction of removing residue As the soldering bath rotates, the oxidation layer of soldering will be collected by the residue removing plate. Use a spatula and remove the residue in the direction of arrow. If the removing plate is not cleaned for a long time, the residue may go over the plate.
