IM3523A Version Upgrade Procedure (USB Connection)
Read this manual carefully before upgrading.
IM3523A LCR METER is referred to as the " this instrument " hereafter.
Handling Precautions
・ You can connect only one computer at a time. Do not connect multiple LCR METER to the
computer at the same time. Be sure to disconnect all items USB connected to the product.
・ Do not unplug the power cable or terminate the write software during the upgrade.
Introduction
The version upgrade is performed from the computer through USB.
To do this:
1. Preparation before upgrading
2. Connection
3. Execute version upgrade
4. Verifying the Version
Note
This instrument is equipped with a CPU and FPGA inside.
Upgrade both CPU and FPGA in one run.
The program may be damaged if the communication cable is unplugged, or the power is turned
off during version upgrading.
