If exhaust air is to be extracted into a chimney or ventilation duct
no longer used for other purposes, seek professional advice.
The extracted air drawn into the extractor must not be routed into
the base unit, as this will damage the cabinet. The extracted air must
be routed outside through ducting (extraction mode) or back into the
room through the recirculation box (recirculation mode).
