TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The machine stops
when you cut.
Nut cannot be re-
moved to release cut-
ting blade.
Cutting blade fails to ro-
tate.
The grass winds
around the trimmer
head and gear box.
Vibration increases ob-

Possible Cause
The guard is not attached to the ma-
chine.
Cutting blade is damaged.
The grass winds around the motor
shaft or the trimmer head.
The motor is overloaded.
Damaged thread on nut/ shaft.
Cutting blade obstructed
Blade nut loose
Grass too high/dense
Cut tall grass at ground level.
Cutting blade damaged.
Debris build up on cutting head

Solution
Remove the battery pack(s) and attach the guard
to the machine.
Replace the blade (always wear protective
gloves).
1. Stop the machine.
2. Remove the battery pack(s).
3. Remove the grass from the motor shaft and
trimmer head.
1. Remove the trimmer head from the grass.
2. The motor will recover to work as soon as the
load is removed.
3. When you cut, move the trimmer head in and
out of the grass to be cut and remove no more
than 8" in pass.
1. Cut with the tip of the line, avoid stones, walls
and other hard objects.
2. Advance the cutting line regularly to keep full
cutting width.
Check underneath the machine and clear out as
necessary (always wear protective gloves).
Tighten nut ensuring the blade, rider plate and
dome washer are all present and central (always
wear protective gloves).
Grass too high: Cut in stages
Grass too dense: Reduce rate of cutting every
time.
1. Cut tall grass from the top down.
2. Remove no more than 8" in each pass to pre-
vent wrapping.
Replace the blade (always wear protective
gloves)
Clean cutting head and remove debris
Tighten nut bolt to ensure the blade, outer cup
and plate are all present and central (always
wear protective gloves).

When I attach the bike handle and tighten it up as much as possible , there is still play in the handle, is this correct.? are any washers required ? Thank you
