measured value "RESET", go to the main menu "EXIT ", and also cancel the press and close the "BACK"
selection menu (Fig. 2.8).

2.3.3 Operation in the "CALIBRATION" mode

When the menu item "CALIBRATION" is selected, the instrument switches to the calibration menu (Fig.
2.9), where the standard setting (calibration) of the probe can be chosen, or, on need, the user
calibration and factory-precalibration can be set.

2.3.4 Operation in the "SETTINGS" mode

When the "SETTINGS" menu item is selected, the device enters the setting mode for the following
parameters (Fig. 2.10):
"LANGUAGE": selection of the menu language of the device (available in English, Russian,

etc);
− "BRIGHTNESS": changing the brightness of the display (from 0 to 100 %, the discreteness is
10 %);
"CONTRAST": change of the display contrast (10, 20, ..., 100 %);

− "AUTO OFF": setting the device to automatically turn off when not in use (off, 1, 5, 10, 30
minutes);
"SOUND" setting the sound accompaniment on press of the keys (on/off);
−
− "RETRO": allows to return to the measurement mode with the last measurements saved after
the device is rebooted.
"SCALE": selection of the units of measurement (mm or inch);
