• Follow basic electricity safety measures whenever connecting the PD-9001GR to its power source. • A voltage mismatch can cause equipment damage and may pose a fire hazard. If the voltage indicated on the label is different from the power outlet voltage, do not connect the PD-9001GR to that power outlet.
Preliminary Steps Perform the following before you begin the installation: • Apply AC power to the PD-9001GR, using an operational AC cable with an appropriate ground connection. • Connect an output Ethernet cable to the DATA & POWER OUT port.
Ensure that the input Ethernet cable is connected to the DATA IN port. Verify that the PD is connected to the DATA & POWER port. Reconnect the same PD to a different PD-9001GR. If it works, there is probably a faulty port or RJ45 connection.
