completed; or you can format the hard drive to erase all data.
Note: When formatting the hard drive, you can choose from the following options:
• High Speed: Erases all data with a dedicated erase command
• Overwrite: Erase all data and then overwrites all areas with data
• Triple Overwrite: Erases all data and then overwrites all areas with data three times
1. Determine the method you want to use to erase data from the hard drive.
2. Depending on your choice, do one of the following:
• To enable sequential deletion, log into Web Config as an administrator, then select Device
Management > Stored Data > Sequential Deletion from Hard Disk and set it to On.
• To format the hard drive, select Settings > General Settings > System Administration > HDD
Erase Settings > Erase All Memory. Select the method of formatting the drive.

You can export your product's settings and optionally encrypt the settings file with a password.
1. Log in to the Web Config interface as an administrator.
2. Select the Device Management tab, then select Export under Export and Import Setting Value.
3. Select the settings you want to export.
Note: If you select a parent category, the child categories are also selected. By default, items that
are unique on the network, such as IP address, cannot be selected. If you want to export these
items, select Enable to select the individual settings of device. It is recommended that you
export only unique items when replacing a product on the network, otherwise you may encounter
conflicts on the network.
