SCALE FUSELAGE AIRWOLF 470 SIZE
1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for buying Roban Model products. The 450 size Airwolf scale fuselage is designed as an easy to use
product. Please read the manual carefully before assembling the model, and follow all precautions and
recommendations located within the manual. Be sure to retain the manual for future reference, routine
maintenance and tuning. The scale fuselage is designed for T-REX 450 Helicopter series use. You can easily put
it on your T-REX 450 for new clothing.
Important Note
Roban Model R/C Helicopters are advanced, high-performance devices, built incorporating the latest
technologies. They are not intended as toys, and improper use can potentially lead to serious injury, or even
fatal accidents. We implore you to read this manual thoroughly before operating these models. Safety should
be your utmost priority - not just your own, but also that of others and your surroundings when piloting Roban
Model products.

4. INSTALLATION 4.1. Mount the balls with screw M2x5 onto the levers as shown below. Do not overtighten, the threads will wear out. 4.2. Mount the ball links to the rods and the levers to the ball links as shown. - Page 7 4.3. Assemble the front wheel unit according to the picture. 4.4. Install it into the fuselage as show using screws.
- Page 8 4.5. Lock in place with washer M3 and screw M3x10 as depicted. 4.6. The carbon rods 3x45 are the pivot axle, insert them partially but do not secure them yet. The preinstalled rod serves as the end position limiter.
- Page 9 4.7. Install the tail strut, then lock the rod in place with set screw. All adjustments can be done afterwards on the other end of the rods. 4.8. To ensure optimal performance and safety, please follow these instructions carefully when installing the levers, shafts, and retaining rings: Install the prepared components as shown in the accompanying diagrams, making sure to align them properly.
- Page 10 4.9. Remove the tail cap. 4.10. Install wooden spacers onto the mechanic, front and back.
- Page 11 4.11. Insert the mechanic into the fuselage as shown. 4.12. Insert the EVA rubber into the tail boom to prevent vibrations.
- Page 12 4.13. Install the tail rotor 4.14. Insert the mechanic (remove tail rotor first) into the fuselage, and screw the front section down as shown.
- Page 13 4.15. The screw down the tail section from below as shown. 4.16. Install the tail cap.
- Page 14 4.17. Lock the retract servo using screws M2x8 in place. 4.18. Mount the tail fin as shown with screws.
- Page 15 4.19. To properly install the tail wings, please follow these instructions carefully: Ensure that all other components are installed before gluing the tail wings. Use glue to secure the tail wings in place. We recommend using a slow-setting epoxy glue, as a quick-setting glue may not allow enough time for adjustment.
- Page 16 4.21. Mount the rocket launcher with screws as shown. 4.22. Use glue to securely attach the machine gun parts into the fuselage as shown on both sides.
- Page 17 4.23. Then use glue to attach the end plate on both sides. Match the painting of the fuselage! 4.24. Apply small amounts of slow-setting yellow glue to the area where the window will be installed. Carefully position the window into place, ensuring that it is properly aligned and seated securely. Allow sufficient time for the glue to dry completely before handling or operating the model.
