Still Picture/Frame-By-
Frame Playback
PAUSEDURING PLAYBACK
PressPAUSE. If there is vertical jitter, use the CH • (+) or
• (-) button to correct the picture.
ACTIVATEFRAME-BY-
FRAMEPLAYBACK
Press PAUSE repeatedly to advance one frame at a time.
OR
PressSHU'nLE PLUS _ repeatedly for forward frame-
by-frame playback or SHU'nLE PLUS _ repeatedly
for reverse frame-by-frame playback.
To resume normal playback, pressPLAY.
Slow Motion/Reverse Slow
Motion
ACTIVATESLOW-MOTION
PLAYBACK
For hands-flee slow-motion, p.'ess and release SHUTTLE
PLUS _ dudng playback to decreasespeed in the
forward direction. Continue to pressand release
SHUTTLE PLUS _ to select the reverse slow motion,
revese play and reversesearch modes.
OR
During still picture, pressand hold SHUTI'LE PLUS
for forward slow motion, or pressand hold SHUTrI.E
PLUS _ for reverseslow motion. Release to relum to
still picture.
OR
For forward slow motion during still picture, pressand
hold PAUSE for more than 2 seconds. PressPAUSE
again to retom to still picture.
To resume normal playback, presspLAY.
Variable-Speed Search/
Reverse Motion Playback

During playback, repeatedly pressand releaseSH U11LE
PLUS _ or _ to select the search speed.
• To increase the speed in the forward direction, press
and release _ repeatedly to select the various
forward search modes.
• To decrease the speed in the forward direction, press
and release I<1_1.
• To play in reverseslow motion, and in reverseplay
mode, continue to press_ repeatedly after
selecting all the _'_vard slow motion modes.
To resume normal playback, pressPLAY.
