I Turn on the TV and select the VCR channel 3 or 4 (or AV I

LOAD A CASSEI-IE
Make sure lhe record safely lah is inlacl. I1 nol, cover Ibe
hole with adhesive lape before inserting the casselte.
SELECT RECORDING
CHANNEL
Press CHAr (+/-). Or press lhe appropriate NUMBER
keys, then press ENTER. (The channel changes after a
few seconds whether you press ENTER or not,)
• If you usethe RFconnection, by pressing the TV/VCR
button, select VCR mode to view the pfngram to be
reco_ed.
SETTAPESPEED
Press SPiEP to set the recording speed.
START RECORDING
Pressand hold RIECand I_'Ss pLAY on the remo_
conl_ol, or press REC on the VCR's front panel.
_deo Calibration takes places at the beginning of both
Ihe first SPand the first EPrecording after inserting the
cassette(when video calibration is set to 'ON" 17" pg.

RECORDING
press PAUSE. Press PLAY to resume recording.
• Dudng record pause, you can change the recording
channel by usingI_e CH&v (+/-) b_ons or NUMBER
keys.
Video Calibration will not take place if the tape speed }
is changed while in record pause mode.
STOPRECORDING
Press STOP or STOP/ElECT. T hen press STOp/ElECTto
removethe cassette.

Accidental erasureprevention
• To p_eventaccidental recording on a recorded cassette,
remove its record safety tab. "
To record on it later, cover the hole with adhesive tape.
