PPTP/L2TP client

8.3.1

Overview

This router can function as a PPTP/L2TP client and connect to PPTP/L2TP servers.
The PPTP/L2TP client function is disabled by default. When it is enabled, the page is shown as
below.

Description
Used to enable or disable the PPTP/L2TP client function.
Specifies the client type that the router serves as.
PPTP: When the router is connecting to a PPTP server, choose this option.
L2TP: When the router is connecting to a L2TP server, choose this option.
Specifies the IP address or domain name of the PPTP/L2TP server that the router connects
to. Generally, when a router serves as the PPTP/L2TP server at the peer side, the domain
name or IP address should be that of the WAN port whose PPTP/L2TP server function is
enabled.
Specify the user name and password that the PPTP/L2TP server assigns to the PPTP/L2TP
clients.
Specifies the connection status of the VPN connection.
