System Configuration

This manual describes the INpact board for PROFINET (manufactured by
HMS Inc.) to be used in the YRC1000micro.
The application of the INpact board allows the general-purpose I/O data
exchange between a PROFINET device and the YRC1000micro.
The INpact board is designed only as a slave for PROFINET (IO Device)
and cannot be used as a master (IO Controller).
System Configuration
The following diagram shows an example of the configuration of a system
with an INpact board used in PROFINET slave.
Use PROFINET cable of category 5 (100BASE-TX) or
more, that is completely shielded and that has no breakage.
Ground the shield of the cable on both sides.

(Ground the shield on device side as close as possible to
the device (100 mm or less recommended)).
Ground
the shield with a metal P type clip or U type clip.
