3.6 Initial startup of the Unit

Note: In order for the unit to heat the pool or spa, the filter pump must be running to circulate water through the heat exchanger.
Startup procedure - After the installation is completed, you should follow these steps:
1. Turn on your filter pump. Check for water leaks and verify flow to and from the pool.
2. Turn on the electrical power supply to the unit, then press the key ON/OFF on the LCD controller, it should start in a few seconds.
3. After running a few minutes make sure the air blowing from the unit is cooler than the ambient air.
4. While the unit is operating, turn the filter pump off. The unit should also turn off automatically.
5. Allow the unit and pool pump to run 24 hours per day until the desired pool water temperature is reached. When the water-in temperature reaches this set
temperature it will run a few minutes to stabilize and turn of compressor and fan.
Time delay- The unit is equipped with a 3-minute restart delay for protection. If the operating is interrupted the unit will only restart when the 3-minute
countdown is completed.
Note: Unit will restart if inlet water drops 1°C from set temperature.

3.7 Permanent Boost Mode activation

All ITS-eco pool heat pumps are programmed for most efficient operation, but see below Boost mode activation to run unit at full power output
Display activation:
1. Unlock screen by holding
2. Hold for 5 sec and you will enter function setup

3. Use or to select between
4. Press , timer slot
5. Press , time hours will flash. Set to 00:00
6. Press , time minutes will flash. Keep 00:00
7. Press , Off symbol will show above time. Use
8. Press , to return to time slot
WIFI App activation:
wWith this setting done unit will run at full power
& for 3sec
Boost mode icon

start. Press to return to main screen
Boost mode can be activated manually from the main heat
pump interface as displayed on left.
Unit will run at max output
Boost mode can also be set up from the "Daily & weekly timing
cycle" function. (See page 21)
Note: WIFI boost mode function will only activate when WIFI
connection is restored
