ITS Heat Pumps Domestic Heat Pump Product Manual 3 OPERATION PRINCIPLES A heat pump works in the same manner as an air conditioner but in a reverse configuration. ITS Heat Pumps Domestic Heat Pump Product Manual 6 INSTALLATION SPACING Always try and install the heat pump as close as possible to the geyser as this will minimize the thermal losses from the piping between the heat pump and the geyser. A maximum one way pipe distance of 15m is allowed but not ideal. -

The controller is pre- programmed by the installer and automates all the heat pump functions.
