1. Introduction

Thank you for buying an ITS high-performance heat pump. We would like to ensure you that you have made the right decision and would like to wish you years
of heated water fun and savings. Please be sure to read this manual to familiarize yourself with the technology and operation principles. Keep it in a safe place
for future reference.
1.1 ITS inverter heat pump key features:

1.2 Warning
The highly efficient and environmentally friendly R32a gas refrigerant used in most ITS swimming pool heat pumps is classified
as mildly flammable. The unit should therefore never be stored or installed close to potential ignition sources (for example:
open flames, operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater.)
Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odor.
Transportation or disposal of the unit must be done in a way that is compliant with national regulations on the specific
refrigerant.
The unit must be installed and operated outside or in a well-ventilated room. Units installed inside must have ventilation equivalent to outside conditions. The
unit must be able to expel cold air without air flow resistance and suck in ambient temperature air.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
1.3 System sizing
It is imperative that the Heat Pump is sized correctly for the pool size / water temperature requirement and the season. Your local ITS dealer / technician can
assist you with the minimum requirement for sizing. Since the efficiency of an inverter heat pump greatly improves the further it backs off from maximum output
power, bigger is better.
