CHOKE
The output board receives the AC output
waveform from the main transformer secondary
winding and rectifies it to a DC voltage level.
Since the output choke is in series with the
positive leg of the output rectifier and also in
series with the welding load, a filtered DC output
current is applied through the machine's output
terminals.
Current sensor to the output board gives current
feedback to the control board.
A thermal protector is also present, to the output
board heat-sink, to protect the output diodes
modules from overheating conditions.
