3.2 Design In-Depth

1 PAL Player Design
The PAL Device comes standard with 15 lullabies on three tracks (approximately 50 minutes of
music) on an SD card.
The preloaded lullabies are formatted with the most "active" music at the beginning of play.
"Active" music being the most complex (12 chord) lullabies which descend in the playlist from 12
chords to 9, 6 and the least complex (3 chord) music at the end.
The PAL Device has a USB port that supports a standard USB flash drive. It allows music or voice
recordings downloaded in MP3 format from another source to be played as well.
The PAL Device automatically defaults to the SD port, if both the SD port and USB port are
connected. The screen will display "Media Select" - you highlight your choice and press SELECT. If
