the ears so that sound source is equidistant from the infant's ears

Infants must be monitored when using the PAL Sensor

Use of the pacifier in the PAL Device should follow protocols for the use of any pacifier
with the infant for whom a pacifier is appropriate
CAUTION:
Do not leave the PAL Sensor in the crib unattended, as any unattended wire/cord in an
infant's crib could cause entanglement resulting in asphyxiation or digital amputation
CAUTION:
Remove the PAL Device from the crib when not in use
CAUTION:
To avoid the risk of the PAL Player tipping, the caregiver should not lean his/her hand on
the PAL Player while it is in the crib
CAUTION:
No component is provided sterile, and the PAL sensor is single patient use, and disposable
CAUTION:
If using a wall outlet connection, the PAL Player should only be used with the supplied
medical grade power supply. Only PAL Sensor should be used. The PAL Player will play
MP3's from a compatible SD card or standard USB flash drive plugged into the USB port.

Do not plug the PAL Sensor into any device other than the PAL Player
CAUTION:
Ensure that the PAL Sensor is plugged into the PAL Player before powering on the device
for accurate calibration and functionality for Contingent mode use
