6 Machine settings

Press the 0 button for two seconds to open the JURA Cockpit� The following settings can be saved
in 'Machine Settings' f:

Explanation
Set the automatic switch-off time to save energy (switch-off after
15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 – 9 hours after the last action on the machine)
Set the hardness of the water used (1 °dH to 30 °dH) to prevent limescale
building up in your machine
Display product images with/without product names on the start screen
Set the unit for the amount of water (ml or oz)
Set language
Reset your X4 to factory settings (the machine then switches off)
Empty the system to protect the X4 from frost damage during transport
(see chapter 10 'Transport and environmentally friendly disposal –
Transport / Emptying the system')
View software version
Blocking and releasing individual products
Define whether the permanent product settings can be changed or not
Permit/do not permit one-off settings during preparation
If using the JURA Wi-Fi Connect
Sub-item 'Wi-Fi connection': Connect your X4 to the JURA app (J�O�E�
Sub-item 'QR code': Connect your X4 wirelessly to a JURA accessory
If using the JURA Payment Connect
Sub-item 'QR code': (enabled, disabled) When you set the function to
enabled for the first time, a QR code appears� You can scan this to set up
