Observe Safety Guidelines
detailed in the beginning of this manual.
PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
Major physical or electrical damage
is evident when the X-Tractor case is
removed.
The input fuses repeatedly fail or the input
circuit breakers keep tripping.
The machine will not power up. No fan.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the test/repairs safely,
contact the Lincoln Electric Service Department for electrical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed. Call 1-888-935-3877.
POSSIBLE AREAS OF
MISADJUSTMENT(S)
MOTOR AND FUNCTION PROBLEMS
1. Contact the Lincoln Electric Service
Department at 1-888-935-3877.
1. Make certain the fuses or breakers are
properly sized.
2. Make sure the three phase input line
voltage is correct for the machine.
1. Make sure the proper input voltage is
being applied to the machine (check
fuses or breakers).
2. Make sure the Thermal Circuit Breaker is
not tripped. Reset if necessary. See the
Wiring Diagram.
3. Make certain the input power switch
(SW2) is in the ON position.
4. Check the F2 fuses that are in series
with the control transformer (TR1)
primary. See the Wiring Diagram.
5. Check the F3 fuse that is in series with
the control transformer (TR1) secondary.
See the Wiring Diagram.

Resistance Test.

3. Perform the K1 Contactor Test.
4. Perform the Control Transformer
(TR1) Test.

Resistance Test.
3. Perform the K1 Contactor Test.
