PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
The filter cleaning function does not work.
The motor (M1) operates normally.
The external start/stop function does not
work.
There is poor suction from the machine.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the test/repairs safely,
contact the Lincoln Electric Service Department for electrical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed. Call 1-888-935-3877.
POSSIBLE AREAS OF
MISADJUSTMENT(S)
MOTOR AND FUNCTION PROBLEMS
1. Make sure the Cleaning Switch S1 is in
the ON position.
1. Make sure the external start/stop
switches are connected to pins 1 and
2 on the remote receptacle. See the
Wiring Diagram.
1. The filter may be clogged. Clean or
replace as required.
2. The hoses may be too long or damaged.
3. The motor may be running in the wrong
direction. Change two phases of the
three phase input.
4. There may be leakage in the system.

COURSE OF ACTION
1. Check the operation of the S1 switch.
See the Wiring Diagram.
2. Perform the K1 Contactor Test.
3. Perform the Timer T1 Test.
4. Perform the Cleaning Solenoid
Resistance Test.
5. The Digital Timer may be faulty.
1. Perform the Timer T2 Test.
1. The motor may not be functioning.
Perform the M1 Three-Phase Fan
Resistance Test.
