2 Horizontal airflow
The following horizontal airflow directions can be set by the user interface:
Direction
Fixed position. The indoor unit blows
air in 1 of 5 fixed positions.
Swing. The indoor unit alternates
between the 5 positions.
INFORMATION
When the unit is installed in a corner of a room, the direction of the louvers should
be facing away from the wall. Efficiency will drop if a wall blocks the air.
Automatic airflow control
Cooling
▪ When the room temperature is lower
than the controller's setpoint for
cooling operation (including auto
operation).
▪ When the indoor units run in
Continuous operation, and the airflow
direction is downward.
▪ When the indoor units run continuously for a long time and the airflow
direction is Horizontal.
WARNING
NEVER touch the air outlet or the horizontal/vertical blades while the swing flap is in
operation. Fingers may become caught or the unit may break down.
NOTICE
Avoid operating in the horizontal direction. It may cause dew or dust to settle on the
ceiling or flap.

Heating
