Tips
- For accurate results, always place the scale on a hard, dry, flat surface, and keep the scale away from dirt, dust, vibrations, wind, air currents, and electromagnetic interference.
- When you turn on the scale, choose units, or use the tare function, always wait for the scale to read "0.0" before measuring.
Note: The scale will automatically shut off after 2 minutes of inactivity.
General Operation
- Place the scale on a hard, flat, level surface for measurement.
- Press ON/OFF to turn on the scale. Make sure the display shows Press UNIT to select your desired measuring unit.
- Place your item on the scale.
- Wait for the reading on the display to stabilize.
Note:
- If you're using the bowl or another container to hold the items or liquid you're measuring, first place the empty container on the scale. Press Z / T to tare the container's weight (see Tare Function).
- To reset the scale, remove all weight from the platform and press Z / T.
Zero / Tare Function
Whenever you measure liquid or other items inside the included bowl, you can use the tare function to remove the bowl's weight from the final measurement. You can also use other containers in place of the bowl.
- Place the bowl on the scale. The display will show the bowl's weight.
- Press Z / T. The display will show "O" again. [Figure 2.1]
- Place liquid or items in the bowl. The scale will measure the liquid or items without including the weight of the bowl. [Figure 2.2]
- When you're done, reset the scale by removing all weight and pressing Z / T again.
Timer Function
- Press T-SET.
- Set the numbers from left to right, using Z / T to increase and UNIT to decrease values. Press T-SET to confirm the selection for each time. The press of T-SET after the last selection will confirm and start the timer.
- When the timer counts down to "00:00", the digital scale will sound an alarm for 70 seconds.
- Press any button to stop the alarm. To stop the timer at any time, press the T-SET button.
Note: The maximum amount of time you can set the timer for is 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
