Normally, the resulting trace will be pa rallel to the center
horizontal graticule line, and the Trace Rotation ad ju stment

uired . If ad ju stment is needed, perform t h e
following

rocedure :
1 . Preset instrument controls and obtain α baseline
trace.
2. Use the Channel 1 POSITIO N control to move the
baseline trace to the center horizontal graticule line .
3. If the resulting trace is not parallel to the center

zontal graticule line, use small flat-bit screwdriver to adjust
