DC TIG/GTAW Pulse

DC TIG/GTAW Pulse welding is used primarily on thin metals but can also be used on thicker
material based on the application. Pulsing allows the user to control the amount of heat input
to the work piece. Pulse gives user far more control over the welding process without
compromising the strength and integrity of the weld and helps in having a smooth and clean
weld.
Basic Mode:
In basic DC TIG/GTAW Pulse mode, the default settings are: Background Current 50%,
Pulse Peak Time 50% and Pulses per Second: 2. User will not be able to adjust these Pulse
parameters, in order to adjust these parameters user has to go to advanced mode. Below
picture illustration shows the navigation/setup of DC TIG/GTAW Pulse in basic mode
(A-B-C-D).
