Commands and comment data addresses to read and write comment
data are explained below.

(b) Comment memory addresses
The area t o store comment data is managed using relative addresses
from the head address OOH.
For example, for 2K bytes of parameter comments, the range
in
which the addresses may be specified for the head address is O O H
to 7FFH.
1) Comment memory capacity is 64K bytes
The comment data address range is determined by the parameter
setting.
2) Comment memory addresses are designated in 4-digit ASCII.
(0000 to FFFF)
3) A character area error 06H occurs if the following condition is not
met:
Head address
+
designated number of bytes -1 s comment
memory capacity.

It is not possible t o designate a particular device or device number when
reading or writing comment data.

Always read or write all data from address OH.
