Terminal name
Forward rotation
Turn ON the STF signal to start forward
start
rotation and turn it OFF to stop.
Reverse rotation
Turn ON the STR signal to start reverse

rotation and turn it OFF to stop.
Start self-holding
Turn ON the STOP signal to self-hold the start signal.
selection
Multi-speed
Multi-speed can be selected according to the combination of RH,
selection
RM and RL signals.
Jog mode
Turn ON the JOG signal to enable JOG operation (initial setting)
selection
and turn ON the start (STF or STR) signal to start JOG operation.
Terminal JOG is also used as a pulse train input terminal. To use
Pulse train input
as a pulse train input terminal, change the Pr.291 setting.
(maximum input pulse: 100k pulses/s)
Turn ON the RT signal to enable the second function.
Second function
When the second function such as "second torque boost" and
selection
"second V/F (base frequency)" is set, turning ON the RT signal
enables the selected function.
Connected to terminal RDA of the converter unit (FR-CC2).
When the RDA signal is turned OFF, the inverter output is shut
Output stop
off.
(Inverter operation
The X10 signal (NC contact) is assigned to terminal MRS in the
enable)
initial setting. Use Pr.599 to change the specification to NO
contact.
Use this signal to reset a fault output provided when a protective
function is activated. Turn ON the RES signal for 0.1 second or
longer, then turn it OFF.
Reset
In the initial setting, reset is always enabled. Setting Pr.75 makes
reset possible only after the occurrence of a inverter fault. The
inverter will restart about 1 second after reset.
The terminal 4 function is available only when the AU signal is

ON.
selection
Turning the AU signal ON makes terminal 2 invalid.
Selection of
When the CS signal is left ON, the inverter restarts automatically
automatic restart
at power restoration. Note that restart setting is necessary on
after
both the inverter and the converter unit for this operation. In the
instantaneous
initial setting, a restart is disabled.
power failure
Terminal function description
When the STF and STR
signals are turned ON
simultaneously, the
stop command is given.
