Handle release cable adjustment.
1. Check to insure the cable is against the slot in
the R.H. leg of the mounting bracket and
cable tie is in place. (Fig. 4)
2. Squeeze the handle release lever and secure
it in the fully squeezed position.
In this position, the slots in the release bar should
line up with the cam plates and the handle should
freely float up and down.
If the handle doesn't float:
1. Tighten the adjustment nut to move the bar
left or loosen it to move the bar right.
2. Flat washers may have to be added between
the adjustment nut and cable clamp to
achieve proper positioning.
If neither of the above corrects the problem
replace the cable assembly.
G. Cord / Strain relief
1. Remove restraint bar.
2. Remove switch bracket.
3. Disconnect attachment cord leads at switch,
handle body and insulated terminal.
4. Remove strain relief.
a. Hold inside nut while turning strain relief
nut counterclockwise. Slide strain relief
down onto cord. (Fig. 5)
5. Slide cord out of handle.
H. Release bar / spring (Fig. 6)
1. Remove adjustment nut and wire.
2. Remove spring.
3. Remove spring.
4. Slide bar out of bracket.
