Locate motor thrust washer and make sure it's in
place upon reassembly. (Fig. 22)
4. Unscrew motor brush mounting screws and
slide brushes out of holders. (Fig. 22)
To reassemble:
1. Install brushes and trap each brush with brush
spring as illustrated in Fig. 23.
NOTE: Check to insure each brush slides freely
in holder.
2. Install end bell on motor - insure wave washer
is in position.
3. Access brushes through motor openings and
slide each brush into position against
commutator.
4. Install grille.
