C. Coil spring (large)
1. Remove switch lever. The spring is held in
position between the switch lever and the
switch
D. Switch
1. Remove switch box cover, switch lever and
spring.
2. Remove switch bracket.
a. Remove 2 screws which secure bracket.
b. Pull bracket / switch out of position enough
to access switch mounting bolts and
remove.
BE SURE THE INSULATION PAPER IS
INSTALLED BETWEEN THE SWITCH AND
SWITCH BRACKET THEN FOLDED
PROPERLY SO IT BETWEEN THE SWITCH
TERMINALS AND INSIDE THE SWITCH BOX.
E. Lockout slide / coil - (lockout) spring
1. Remove switch bracket and slide lockout slide
and coil spring out of position.
F. Handle release Cable
1. Remove handle release lever.
a. Remove mounting screw and eyelet bolt.
NOTE: Do not over-tighten this bolt during
reassembly. The cable must be able to
pivot freely to avoid binding.
2. Slide restraint bar out of housing.
3. Remove cable clamp and slide cable through
handle.
4. On lower handle remove cable tie* and nut on
threaded end of cable and slide cable from
bracket. (Fig. 2)
* This cable tie prevents the cable from shifting
out of position. Follow the diagram in (Fig. 3)
when reinstalling the tie.
