Assembling
Curtain bounce prevention
system
can be assembled
as a unit,
Parts
location, oiling points and oil to be used are
shown in Fig. 4-
107.
However, oiling procedure
for the friction plates is described
below.
Oiling to the friction plates

Clean
them with Benzine.

When the surface dries up, apply L-1
on each plate witha
small brush, so that
a layer of L-1
covers
the surface.
Both surfaces
need oiling.
Cleaning
If there are tiny flakes from
the plate due to long use, clean
them
up without letting them
escape
into inner places.
G ring
G-ring must be assembled or disassembled from the axis
direction.
Widen the opening
carefully not to damage
the ring.

When
installing the system
to the mirror
housing,
the damper
gears must be engaged with the damper
pinion gears, so that the sys-
tem operates as follows:

curtains are wound up;-
