• Before running your robot on carpets or rugs, ensure that the carpets or
rugs are compatible with the dual multi-surface rubber brushes on your
robot, otherwise known as beater bars. Using your robot on a carpet
or rug that is not compatible could result in damage to your carpet
or rug. Contact your carpet or rug manufacturer with questions on
compatibility.

Do you have a question about the Roomba Combo Essential RVG-Y1 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
brand new roomba essential won't dispense Bona cleaning solution or plain water. Bin is clean/new and tank is full.
The iRobot Combo Essential RVG-Y1 is not dispensing Bona cleaning solution or water because it is not designed to use cleaning solutions like Bona. The manual states to only fill the tank with water and specifically warns not to add liquids such as hot water, detergent, or disinfectant. Using anything other than water could block or damage the system, preventing it from dispensing properly.
