僅 If the remote key is in close proximity
to your cellular phone or smartphone,
the signal from the transmitter could
be blocked by normal operation of
your cellular phone or smartphone.
This is especially important when the
phone is active such as making call,
receiving calls, text messaging, and/or
sending/receiving emails.
僅 Avoid placing the remote key and
your cellular phone or smartphone in
the same pants or jacket pocket and
maintain adequate distance between
the two devices.

Operation
僅 Press the corresponding button.
Non-operating condition(s)
僅 The key is close to a radio transmitter,
such as a radio station or an airport
which can interfere with normal oper -
ation of the smart key.
僅 Being near a mobile two-way radio
system or a cellular phone.
僅 Another vehicle's smart key is being
operated close to your vehicle.
INFORMATION
僅 After pressing the lock/unlock button
(1, 2) on the key, the hazard warning
lights will blink.
僅 After pressing unlock button (2), the
doors will lock automatically unless
you open any door within 30 seconds.
僅 Press and hold the tailgate unlock/
open button (3) to unlock or open the
tailgate, according to the vehicle
options. The tailgate will lock auto -
matically once the tailgate is opened
and closed.
僅 If any door, bonnet or tailgate remains
open, the hazard warning lights will
not blink.
NOTICE
僅 If, for some reason, you happen to
lose your smart key, you will not be
able to start the vehicle. Tow the vehi -
cle, if necessary, contact a profes -
