Off conditions
Extended Rear View Monitor function
will turn off when one the following con -
ditions are satisfied:
僅 The vehicle speed is above approxi -
mately 10 km/h (6 mph).
僅 Pressing the Parking/View button (1).
僅 Shifting the gear to P (Park).
Rear view whilst driving
The driver is able to check the rear view
on the screen whilst driving, it is to assist
with safe driving.
Operating conditions
Press the Parking/View button (1) whilst
the gear is in D (Drive) or N (Neutral), the
driving rear view will appear on the
screen.
Off conditions
Rear view whilst driving function will
turn off when one the following condi -
tions are satisfied:
僅 Pressing the Parking/View button (1)
or the infotainment system button.
僅 Shifting the gear to P (Park).

Rear top view shows the distance from
the vehicle or the object in the back of
your vehicle whilst parking.
Press the Rear top view button (
turn on Rear top view.

Rear View Monitor malfunction
When Rear View Monitor is not working
properly, or the screen flickers, or the
camera image does not display nor -
mally, Kia recommends visiting an
authorised Kia dealer/service partner.
Limitations of Rear View Monitor
When the vehicle is stopped for a long
time in winter or when the vehicle is
parked in an indoor parking lot, the
exhaust fumes may temporarily blur the
image.
WARNING
僅 The wide-rear view camera does not
cover the complete area behind the
vehicle. The driver should always
check the rear area directly through
the inside and outside rear view mir -
ror before parking or Reversing.
僅 The image shown on the screen may
differ from the actual distance of the
object. Make sure to directly check the
vehicle's surroundings for safety.
僅 If the camera lens is covered with for -
eign material, the Rear View Monitor
may not operate normally.
Always keep the camera lens clean.
However, do not use chemical sol -
vents such as strong detergents con -
taining high alkaline or volatile
organic solvents (petrol, acetone etc.).
This may damage the camera lens.
