僅 Shifting down: ▼1, ▼2, ▼3, ▼4, ▼5
For example
僅 ▲3: Indicates that shifting up to the
3rd gear is desired (currently the shift
lever is in the 2nd or 1st gear).
僅 ▼3: Indicates that shifting down to
the 3rd gear is desired (currently the
shift lever is in the 4th, 5th or 6th
gear).
When the system is not working prop -
erly, the indicator is not displayed.
8. Outside temperature gauge
僅 Indicates the current outside air tem -
peratures.
9. Warning and indicator lights
僅 Refer to "Warning and indicator lights"
on page 5-61.
WARNING
僅 Never remove the engine coolant res -
ervoir cap when the engine is hot. The
engine coolant is under pressure and
could severely burn. Wait until the
engine is cool before adding coolant
to the reservoir.
僅 Running out of fuel can expose vehi -
cle occupants to danger. You must
stop and obtain additional fuel as
soon as possible after a low fuel warn -
ing light ( ) appears or when the
gauge indicator comes close to the "E"
level.
CAUTION
僅 For full LCD type cluster (Type B), the
information is displayed after getting
information from a weather informa -
tion provider via GPS. Depending on
conditions of GPS reception, the infor -
mation may be different from the cur -
rent weather in your area. If no
information is received via GPS (e.g.,
not subscribed to Kia Connect ser -
vice), the weather and time will be dis -
played as 'sunny' and 'night' on the
cluster.
僅 Be careful whilst driving as dynamic
themed animation effects can distract
the driver and lead to unexpected
accidents.
僅 Do not operate the engine within the
tachometer's red zone. This may
cause severe engine damage.
NOTICE
僅 According to the hybrid system gauge
area, the EV indicator comes on or off.
- EV indicator ON: Vehicle is driven
using the electric motor or the
petrol engine is stopped.
- EV indicator OFF: Vehicle is driven
using the petrol engine.
僅 Never try to start the vehicle if the fuel
tank is empty. In this condition, the
engine cannot charge the high volt -
age battery of the hybrid system. If
you try to start the vehicle when the
fuel is empty, the high voltage battery
will become discharged and be dam -
aged.
僅 The fuel tank capacity is given in
"Recommended lubricants and capac -
ities" on page 10-9.
僅 The fuel gauge is supplemented by a
low fuel warning light (
appear when the fuel tank is nearly
empty.
僅 On inclines or curves, the fuel gauge
pointer may fluctuate or the low fuel
warning light may come on earlier
