Possible Cause
Loose coupling between
motor and brush shaft if
only one side stalls.
Hydraulic pressure relief
valve is set to low
Hydraulic motor
Arm set too aggressive
Retract stops set too far
in toward centerline
Fitting is loose or
damaged
Hole in hose
Motor/Shaft seal worn
Arm set to aggressive
Cloth dragging on floor or
guide rail.
Arms not set aggressive

Shocks are worn.
Solenoid clogged or
worn.
Air cylinder clogged or

Check for plugged

Probable Remedy
Inspect and replace if necessary.
Slightly increase pressure valve at hydraulic unit until unit
spins at a constant RPM when contacting vehicle
surface.
Motor may have debris inside or motor may be worn.
Inspect, clean, and replace if necessary.
Adjust pillow block bearings to reduce aggressiveness.
Adjust stops to allow arms to open wider.
Tighten fitting or replace
Replace hose
Rebuild with seal kit
Adjust pillow block bearings to reduce aggressiveness.
Raise cores to clear obstruction.
Adjust pillow block bearings to increase aggressiveness.
Replace shocks.
Clean valve and supply line or replace as necessary.
Clean cylinder and supply line or replace as necessary.
Adjust pillow block bearings to increase aggressiveness.
Increase flow from hydraulic unit to 60 rpm.
Clean or replace nozzles
Clean or replace solenoid
