40 Chapter 2: Hardware installation
Four of the auxiliary output signals use their own power source, while four of the
signals use a common power souce.

When using the four signals that use a common power source, you should connect
the power source, external device, and ground according to configuration B.
You can use a 5 V, 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V power source. You must ensure that the
current does not exceed 500 mA, otherwise you can damage the I/O module. For
more information, see the Electrical specifications section in Appendix B.
