    Description of the Device The SC-5.2 Source Control is a stereo audio input selector. The device can be operated manually, with the included IR remote control or with an optional wall panel (SC-WP1). The device is equipped with 3 unbalanced audio line inputs (with gold-plated RCA connectors), 1 balanced audio line input with a terminal plug (suitable for long cable runs) and a summed mono audio input for the wall panel (SC-WP1).

Connecting Source Devices You can connect 4 stereo audio sources to the device: Source 1, Source 2, Source 3, and Source 4 through the input connections. Note: If you want to connect an external 5 source, you need to use a wall panel (see 4.4.3.

    SC-5.2 Source Control 4.5. Connecting to Power Supply DANGER Electric shock caused by short-circuit The device accepts AC mains power at 100–240 V and 50/60 Hz. Do not supply power at any other voltage or frequency to the device. This device falls under IEC protection class I. Make sure that the device is always electrically connected to the ground (earth).

    SC-5.2 Source Control 5.3.2. Remote Control The device can be operated with an IR remote control. The remote control is included in the delivery. DANGER Do not ingest battery, chemical burn hazard. The remote control contains a coin cell battery. If the coin cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.

    SC-5.2 Source Control Troubleshooting This troubleshooting guide contains solutions to problems which can be carried out by an ordinary person. The device does not contain user-serviceable parts. Unauthorized modifications to the device will render the warranty void. Such modifications may result in injuries and material damage.

    SC-5.2 Source Control 7.2.1. Basic Cleaning Instructions To clean the device, follow the steps below: 01) Disconnect the device from the electrical power supply. 02) Allow the device to cool down for at least 5 minutes. 03) Clean the device with a soft, lint-free cloth.
